Many women secretly struggle with feelings of inadequacy, insecurity and self-doubt. Many cannot understand how significant they are or lack the ability to place a value on their experiences, skills, knowledge, loyalty, etc… Because of this, many are stuck personally and professionally. But, there is still hope. Even if confidence is lacking for you right now… it can be cultivated with practice and preparation. Instead of feeling, inadequate or insecure think of times in your life (big or small) when you did something that made you happy or proud. Make a list of those moments and read it aloud. Remember, when you were excited, happy and accomplished. Then take those feelings and believe they can come again.
I leave you with a quote from Cynthia Kersey. “Believe in yourself and there will come a day when others will have no choice but to believe with you.”
